I hear the rhythm of leaves
Autumn whispers in my ear
it will not be long, I hear the robins' song
Oh autumn, please serenade me

Flutter your skirt of ginger hues
as you prance in the breeze
Cha Cha your limbs
Oh Autumn, please dance for me

When you are posing bare
and no leaves in your hair
just ginger ash perfume
in  smoke and mirrors
of yesterday's blooms
Oh autumn, intoxicate me

This is so different, and it's my favorite time of the year. I really enjoyed the words you choose and the uniqueness of how you phrased the poem and by the way, welcome to Passions.!

Victoria~
This is a charming little gem.

'Flutter your skirt of ginger hues
as you prance in the breeze'

'Flutter your skirt' - how ADORABLE !

I enjoyed this so much.
