ooooh that felt nice!
yup
I did it
I told someone inside our circle of friends
that you and me weren't you and me anymore
and after their shock wore off
then their dismay
(what? you? the happy couple?)
I shed a few tears for fairytales lost
(damn I wasn't going to cry today!)
and got on with planning my future,
I hung that Eiffel Tower picture
from my shop in the living room
(you know, the one you wouldn't let me keep)
I rearranged the house
cleaned you out of the corners
and washed the sheets
in scalding hot water and bleach
there, now I feel more in charge
more empowered
if everyday is a progression
towards healing
I swear in ohhh 5 or 10 years
my heart will finally be whole again

Your heart is so beautiful I just can't stay away...I love the way you are writing your feelings...I'm sorry you are having these problems...hoping for the best...I used to have a large picture of the Eiffel Tower and I left it at a girlfriends house when I moved out..now I miss the picture but not the girlfriend.  I still have three beautiful pictures of Paris on my living room wall and I have a picture of me standing in front of of the Eiffel Tower...you take care of yourself hon...James

psst, Heather - That picture of the Eiffel Tower you love so much?  I saw it when Lorelei and I were visiting.  That's actually Oil Well #29 on the outskirts of Muskogee, and those sexy male Frenchmen are really wildcatters coming off a gusher.  What?  You REALLY didn't know that?  OMG - Never mind.  Maybe I'm wrong.  Yeah!  That's it!  I'm mistaken!

BTW - Send us an email and let us know about your plans.  OK?  smooch

X Angel,

Some day you will be whole again.  Just you wait and see!!  Wonderful expressive writing.

With powerful words like this Heather, and a positive attitude amongst the turmoil, I'm sure your healing process will increase in speed. Wonderfully therapeutic writing for all of us, Heather. You touch many with your words. Well done!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Love it, Heather. That's always a terrific thing to do....one little thing you could not do before done in defiance..a show of a spirit that will not die....I applaud you, heather....and I admire you tremendously
