Everyone, I have been gone awhile...I have had bad headaches and in and out of ER so many times. I just spent another 6 hours the night before last there and hoping I can remain home ahwile. Anyway, I didn't want anyone to think I quit or just wasn't interested. I am interested just not feeling well most days. But, it feels nice to be back again.

When Can I Dance

She waits as the crowd gathers around in place
Watching hundreds of people fill the large empty space
When can I dance she asked herself as she impatiently stares
Then the mark, the moment, she was finally there...

So, she swayed with the music like the wind in the fall
And, dancing there she had found peace in it all
Nothing could stop what this young girl was set out to do
She waited forever it felt like her short lifetime though...

Growing older in light of a still young soul inside
The only time she could dance was when she closed her eyes
And, life had thrown her way such heartaches at hand
But, the only way to freedom was if this girl could dance...

So, years found that little girl with a little girl all of her own
Life no longer left her out there and always alone
It took a bitter storm to separate the two truest of hearts
Her wish to dance still finds her dancing just miles apart...

When can I dance she asks herself as the sun goes down
My only peace in it all when hard times are found
I can't take the moment, alone, when my baby is gone
I need a reason, a moment and our favorite song...

I have to dance when the world plays unfair games on me
I can dance forever until the break of dawn I see
I like to move like the treetops on a stormy day
And, let the melody take just a little of the pain away...

Time has given her a friend through it all to love
And, even when she couldn't see it was surely enough
For this friend carried her to places she had never been
And, she found trust and such light in this perfect friend...

So, together they saw places only the mind could create
And, each night she became so impatient to lie there and wait
And, when it was time to dream and the white light began
She asked to herself all over, now when can I dance...

So, she danced upon every hill she could possibly find
And, beside every body of blue water she danced this time
She was as graceful as the wind still on a warm spring day
Heaven never felt so close while dancing the tears away...

Even though days were good she still couldn't move on
Cause this little girl of hers was somehow gone
So, she can't smile even when the sun shines down on us
She finds herself asking for strength when she doesn't have much...

Oh, today she found herself so tired and worn
She doesn't want to live in the darkness anymore
She is weak with the memory of what used to be
Trying to live in an imperfect world so perfectly...

She knows she can't battle the world that lies on ahead
And, without that little hand to hold there's nothing left
So, she cries to the skies and she looks up with a glance
To herself she asked God, I'm ready, when can I dance?

I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps

My dear sweet friend.  It is so nice to see you among us still and I am sorry that you have had such a bad time as of late.  We would never give up on you just worry a little ok?  Now to the poem....you have spoken from the depths of your soul with this one and it shines just as you do.  The inspiration and the desperateness glow in your words.  Lovely read my friend.  Everymuch as you are.
