Jezabel

Jezabel, you stole his heart
so on weekends he's all yours.
He sees you as a perfect beauty
without your faults and flaws.
He takes you out when he can
to places I'd like to see.
Each weekend we sit at home,
just the kids and me.
I'd like to play his game,
going out and having fun,
but I have a problem there.
Who'd look after the little one?
Its not that I'm jealous of you,
the other love of his life.
Its just that you're only a boat
and I am his faithful wife.

Cute yes but a little too sad in it's truth.  Excellent read and loved the flow.

Dawn and Sunny1, glad you liked it. It was written for a friend of mine. I think his wife really does feel this way.

Mark, it was meant to be a little sad but I also wanted it to be a reminder for him.
Thanks for your comments.

This is very very sad...at least a woman you
can "fight".....but those little
gills...OOOHHH there's just no match for
that! Great writing Dee, I hope your
friend's husband wakes up and sees what he's
missing!!!

Hi Dee,

I'm sorry, but I'm still getting my sailboat and when you come to visit I'll take you out and let you be the captain.  Hey, then Ashley can be the sad one....Great writing, dear.

Love,
Michael
