Heaven's Steam

And it was
in the fewest hours
of sleep

that I dreamt
a night's
worth of dream,
draped between
wake and not

And you were
Heaven's steam,
beading, hot,

dripping,
now slippery,
streaming
down
the slick side
of musing's
morning
scene.

Claire~
Such lovely musing in this dream state.
You've crafted it well.

Hmmmm...steamy dreams for your muse.  Well penned with this one.  The possibilities are endless.  Loved it much.

Hi Claire,

This is very pretty, dear friend.  I haven't had a dream like this one in ages.

Take care,

Michael

Lovely!!

it reminds me somehow of Emily Dickinson...

I like this part especially:

'that I dreamt
a night's
worth of dream,
draped between
wake and not'

Sunny, thank you. I appreciate you taking time to read and share your enthusiasm with me...glad you liked this.

James, yes, the possibilities are virtually endless. Thanks for your "dreamy" response.

Miss Marge, I thank you. Aren't dreams often just so lovely?

Mark, thank you! Steamy dreams, indeed...

Liz, many thanks to you tonight. I still can't get your "A Far Off Place" out of my mind since reading it earlier this evening.

Michael, thank you, dear. By the way, did you remember the peanut butter?

Mike, I love how you've summed it up...

Severn, thank you, and for the Dickinson reference, as well. She has long been one of my favorites.
