Soft caress
of longing finger,
Feathered touch
of passion's linger.
Drawing nigh,
sweet angel's grace,
On weathered skin,
doth beauty trace.
With gentle hand,
she draws me near,
Her healing balm,
strokes down my fear,
On heaven's winds,
Eros doth bring her,
Soft caress
of longing finger.

This is beautiful writing.  The words flow so smoothly, and I am left with a warm feeling and beautiful image.
Great work.

Mike~
Such an ethereal quality about this piece.
You've summoned thoughts from an angelic muse.
Beautiful.

Beautiful words, beautifully arranged. You surely write from experience, my friend, for this is exquisitely real.

Nan... thank you so much for the lovely.
Irish Rose... thank you for the gracious reply.  I have a fondness for romantic verse also.
Martie... thank you my friend... I am glad you liked.
Marie... what a wonderful reply. Thank you.
Sunny...how nice... don't think I quite qualify as an angel...*smile*
Marge...my muse seems to float across the landscape, but ultimately returns to the heavens...  I truly appreciate the gracious comment.
Elizabeth... thank you kindly for the exquisite.
Claire...and sometimes the bridge between reality and fantasy is narrow also... but true beauty comes from reminisce.

Yep, here I am again...ever watching you...LOL...and 'tis a beauty...I thank you.  And...
excuse me sir, but I do have a question...regarding the particular form...would mind terribly dropping me an "e" if/when you are not too busy?  If not...I'll understand.  I too, have gone underground....LOL
