The Truth of Mother Goose
(good humor day challenge)

Here lies the truth of that old Mother Goose,
Better known to some as, Madam Seduce.
They'd have you think, she were sweet and good,
When truth be, she was head gangsta, of the hood.
At her side were Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee,
Two cold hearted thugs, her body guards, you see.
Now old Humpty Dumpty, he never fell back then,
She had him pushed off, then had omelets again.
And you know that old woman that lived in the shoe?
Had all those kids, cause of what she was forced to do.
I bet you believed that Little Boy Blue, just tooted that horn,
When in all truth, he was the Gooses Minister of Porn.
And bless his soul, when Old King Cole called help to the scene,
All he got was Hector Protector, dressed up like a drag queen.
Just ask poor Sulky Sue, she'll whine and cry, but tell you true,
As will Jack Sprat,  Lil Tom Tucker, and Old Mother Hubbard too.
The Goose's reign of terror goes on and on as I say,
And this is my story for this good humor day.

To think I let my kids read Mother Goose when they were little! Very amusing poem.

ROFL at you Steve.  Excellent write for the challenge and I think that after this one Dr. Seuss may grow in popularity even more.  Now those are safe aren't they?

Steve,
Very funny poem I dont' know if I've ever considered mother goose in that light, Dr Suess though... There's another story.
Be well

I always knew those nursery rhymes were somehow inappropriate for small ears... It's all right to steal from the giant - or break and enter into the three bears' house, etc... Now I FINALLY learn the truth behind it all...

Mark, as Kethry seems to know and I agree
about that Dr Seuss, I mean who can
trust a Cat in a Hat, or any one that
likes to eat green eggs and ham like
      that... and purple elephants named
Horton that hears Who's, just won't do,
not to mention a Grinch, who carries
an obvious stench....no Mark, Seuss, I
am sure is in cahoots with the Goose..
lmao  thanks  to both of you SB

Chanson ~ lol glad you liked this  so much..
your kind words are like those from
a little bird.... lol thanks   SB

re-doing the Goose's poems for some
time, but I would have to post them
in Adult. perhaps I will soon.. SB
