*-Journey of Night-*

Eyes of green made up so fine
Mane of gold with tendrils of curl
Adorned her form wearing tan leather skirt
Boots to knee atop stockings of net
Out the door she attempts to explore
The journey of night begins to unfold..

At side of bar on stool she is perched
Not noticing the eyes in dark that lurk
Martini in hand she gazes around
Yet still sees only disguise in man
Will this night bring her delight
When paths shall merge with one in dark
Reaching beneath beauty seen
Unveiling heart of lonely that weeps

Alas, midnight hour has struck
Her night out now comes to close
Reaching for her purse on lap
A matchbox slips and lands on floor
There in front as she sways down
A gentle man brushed by her hand
Eyes of brown meet eyes of green
Shyingly she smiles and thanks him
Places matchbox in her purse
She walks to door peaking at side of view
Seeing his glance of her exiting form
Her heart possessing excited beat
Perhaps once again they shall meet.

Coco,
I look forward to you poetry, as it gives glimpes of mystery. This piece was no exception and I enjoyed it very much.
Be well

Coco, I really enjoyed this. Especially the unanswered question it finishes with.

CoCo ~ I know this game...though I haven't
played it in years, as I moved to a
rather remote area of N Cal it brought
back fun memeories of the hunt...lol
funny though, my eyes are green and I
       use to drink martinis... SB
