Quinella & Konrad

In a night's dream of mode long ago
virgin lady faire did come, though weak
saw comely Knight in metallic robe

there in a vision she caught a peek
in a lightsome moonbeam bright
came to her, did this bravely Knight

O'er a highest hill he had hied
o'er meadow, cross'd river wide
on blackest steed he did then ride

to see her, his Quinella's face
to hold her in his strong embrace
he hied his horse to pick up pace

Through his travels he suffered well
the hardship's scheme of told tale
a vision and voice only he could hear

as he hied and cross'd icy stream
a warmth and body he'd hold near
and did wrest his painful way

under pale moon's beam

to her

cadences he had sung, prayers pray'd
slowly he'd giv'n thought to pilgrimage
to locate but once the inflection'd image

a silvered ghost, a heart's tempest unrest
her love's heart, his soul's best
'twas true, his Knighthood's quest

of her

his vision

fought the truthful fight to find

her dream in him…

Quinella's dream….

Sunshine,
You write so well and make it look so easy.

Be well

Ahhhhh....tis maybe a promise of life ongoing in the land of fair maiden?  Lovely write and a beautiful way to wrap up a tale told of grace of love.

Nan, I sincerely hope you look into that piece of work, and pull it apart because I do believe that someday this should be shared and I would want it ALL to be correct...[and I've got Christopher's seven pages of corrections to make...]

Thank you!
