I will wait until the sunset bleed's into the day until the moonlight nurse's the wound's away until we kiss and our lips' touch again I will wait until tomorrow when the sunlight ascends I will wait forever until your return feeling softly your lip's upon mine Every day for you my heart yearn's I will wait until your love passes me by and yes I will wait until I no longer cry I will wait until the summer invites the summer rain until the snowflakes' kiss my window pane I will wait until the memories' of our love die's I will wait for you but never, never say good bye [This message has been edited by Victoria (edited 09-01-2000).] |

Excellent writing...I have wondered about this waiting game...does waiting really pay off or is it a waste of our precious time..is the other truly worth the wait...do they really want us to wait...how long would be considered a worthy wait and when does waiting become nothing more than a waste of time...does waiting reveal strength or are we weak and perhaps afraid to let go and move on..just my personal experiences and thoughts...James |

Love is hard to replace. There are many different kinds of love, but love that is sincere will never die, no matter how long you wait. In this case my love loves me but lives far away. I do not fall easily in love so it is not a waste of time. I hope I will always love him. I cannot see myself not loving him. His presence is always with me and mine is with him. Thank you catalina moon. You cannot ignore the heart no matter how hard you try. I would say it is silly to love someone though who doesnt love you..than it would be a waste of time. |

Hey Victoria I waited a long time for a woman I loved very much one time and it didn't pay off for me...emotionally it is very stressful. At some point I had to take into consideration...does she appreciate me waiting for her...does she care for me at all. Because physically someone could wait forever...but emotionally you die inside...I know I did...so much frustration and disappointment...I am only sharing this experience and a lesson I learned...but just think if she did still have some feelings for me the ending would have been different...we would be together today due to my loyalty to wait...and perhaps this is your situation...please don't be influenced by what has happened to me...just know that everytime someone says they will wait it stirs up these memories in my heart...hopefully good and precious memories will be stirred up in yours. James |
