   I walked with Gods

A millennium of heat
Befriended a tepid shore.
Swirling waters gave me fleet
Perceptions of the evermore.

Cloaked me a lovers shroud
Sponsored me a wild kismet
Took me up into the clouds
Bathed me in a new beget.

There I walked forevers way
Strolling lanes where Gods have reign.
Unaware the time of day
Oblivious of all explain.

Raptured in a sophistry
Captured by a moments flight.
Swept into a pleasantry
Gone the dastard ways of trite.

Above the truth, against the odds.
I walked a moment with the Gods.

Seymour, I admire the interesting ways in which you manipulate the parts of speech and do so with cleverness and humour. This piece is grand.

Well, I feel like Echo when I say this, but this is a beautiful piece! I also love the last two lines, a great ending to a great piece. Keep up the good work!
