"The Edge of Emotion"

How can everything be so black and white for you?
Is it the male gene coming through?
Can emotions be so specifically categorized and pat?
Your insecurities point of view.

I see shades of gray so bright and so clearly.
Face up to the "what if's" and "maybe's",
admit a feeling and accept the consequences,
exploring all the possibilities.

To pigeon-hole and bluntly state as facts
an emotional situation you choose to betray,
cannot be masked with uncolored gestures,
nor can they fade without the gray.

Welcome, welcome!
I must tell you that I read this, reread it again, and then thought about it before I replied.  I cannot begin to explain what your poem means to me...just that I really liked it and I am definitely looking forward to more.

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

wow this is good...VERY GOOD
the words sunk into me and the images just arose with the archtypical man and how he deals with emotions, confronted by his love...well as you can see i really enjoyed this piece, fierce indeed   WELCOME TO PASSIONS  .
