(The first challenge that I am answering here. Patience with me please

Weaving the Fabic of Romance

A scrap of gold from dawning beam,
its warming intertwined
as two palms meeting, fingers folding,
stitched e'er lovingly.

A patch of herbal lavender
from corner, under shade,
as two stroll thigh to thigh in laze,
its scent curls errantly.

A drooping swatch of willow
weeping green around the seam,
as two embrace caressingly,
its whispy thread sewn straight and slow.

Together baste with shades of stone
found kissed with drops by trick'ling stream,
as two join lips in taste of dew,
nests silky batting's coziness.

A touch of nature, quilted bits,
weave fabric of romance.
A softness as your arms enfold,
fine comfort 'round two hearts enhance.

...chanson~

Happy Birthday Sven,
Many wishes for your happiness!

Oh, chansondegeste......

This is very beautiful!! Your words do not show that you are new at all, but rather a master of your art......

Chanondegeste,
This did not read like it was your first challenge, in fact it read like you'd been meeting challenges and winning all your life.

Be well

Kethry, you are correct. This is not my first challenge but it is my first challenge that I have answered in this forum. (Because I'm a newbie, I guess I felt a bit shy. I didn't want to appear forward
As to meeting challenges in life, yes, I suppose I have. *grin*
Thank you so much for reading and your lovely compliment  ...chanson~

Wow.....you are definitely not new at this. Either that or you have been up perfecting your talent all night.(for weeks on end) This is really beautiful and will last an eternity.  Loved the lines:

A scrap of gold from dawning beam,
its warming intertwined
as two palms meeting, fingers folding,
stitched e'er lovingly.

A patch of herbal lavender
from corner, under shade,
as two stroll thigh to thigh in laze,
its scent curls errantly.

A drooping swatch of willow
weeping green around the seam,
as two embrace caressingly,
its whispy thread sewn straight and slow.

Together baste with shades of stone
found kissed with drops by trick'ling stream,
as two join lips in taste of dew,
nests silky batting's coziness.

A touch of nature, quilted bits,
weave fabric of romance.
A softness as your arms enfold,
fine comfort 'round two hearts enhance.

Hey that is all of them...what do you know....well if the shoe fits.....

Reposting my poem made me chuckle...for I often try to pick out a line or two that I especially like in other's poems and find that I like them all.
So kind of you. Thank you!  ...chanson~
