Without Music (Paula's challenge)

Each morning,
I rise to the dawning
of a new day and you...
To feed you
with an early morning breakfast,
that shall tide you over
'til you are back in my arms again.

A moment does not pass,
without thoughts of your lips
that cover mine with tenderness
whenever we meet...
The warm, softness
though pressing your want,
always fills my mind.

The evening sun settling in
reminds me of your hold
and the moon rising
sings to me, a tune of
"never forgotten", as it continues
to phase in and out of my life,
yet is ever present.

I fear the night
when it's emptiness,
on me unloads.
I see the look in your eyes,
the tender you show
and I try to dance with you,
but there's no music.

Leaning in, touching you,
I feel the humming of your heart,
the soft and soothing of your voice.
A melody forms within my own.
I learn your song and
when tomorrow comes
will save this dance for you.

Breathtaking! *sigh*  My better half being a songwriter, made me really appreciate this piece.

Mo - This is really grand - I love the way you described the music, and no music.  Such a wonderful way of describing a woman's love.
