         The bean stork

A cow, or sow, or then for now
A token of your hard earned day.
Bartered away for tales somehow
That turn and sour into gray.

It makes no difference how the means
What ever course the barter would.
Perhaps the fancy of a dream
A scheme, a ship of sail and wood.

The epilogue is mostly why
The trade is buried deep in scope.
For sure it sprouts into the sky
With end so high, it's lost in hope.

It's true we see the ogres near
Within the castles made of schemes.
Those tumble down about our ears
And buried with our best of dreams.

We climb the magic stork to shrouds
That show to us, as rainbow clouds.

Sy,
Loved the bean stalk (stork) play on words. Don't disillusion me by telling me it wasn't planned. Also liked the *L* interchange. I thought *L* stood for loser, (...with the shape of an L on her forehead - Smashmouth)  knew I was wrong there but couldn't figure out what the *l* stood for anyway it made me laugh.

Be well
Kethry
