There are many things in life, I've learned to cast aside... All the words I can't take back, and all the tears I've cried... I prefer to leave the seeds of past deeds where they're planted... So, be advised, I've open eyes... Don't take this heart for granted.... No one likes to think they are the object of disdain... And I am quite resilient..I can walk away from pain... But put me in a corner with my back against the wall... And you will reap the dark rewards within my beck and call!! Life has taught me how to be as strong as I need be... I've learned that there are those who'd try to walk all over me... No longer can they do their deeds... It conjures up my wrath... And they will find my sweet revenge upon their chosen path.... Don't take this heart for granted... thinking that you know it all... You think you've got my number... But you've never made the call... You'll wind up doing things that make me angry in the end... And you don't want a gypsy casting spells of sweet revenge.... So, now be warned--upon this page-- That I have nought to lose... If what you seek is mine to give... YOU BEST HAD LET ME CHOOSE!!! I strive for peace and harmony and love for all my friends... And only as a last resort, Cast out my sweet revenge!!!! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! Hi Cerenity.. Please feel free to plaster this all over your office if you want to!! I don't like to be taken for granted, and I don't think many people do, but it is something that just creeps into any relationship, and that's when we have to define our limits. Go ahead and stand up for yourself, as you are your own best friend. This wasn't meant to be an angry poem.....just a lesson in review for my own benefit!! Thank you for reading!! Today is a gift.... Hi Paula.... I think we all get that stepped-on feeling sometimes, then we get frustrated, and finally angry!! This just more or less says, 'Im not going to take it anymore!!'
