Dreams/Reality In my dreams you rescue me, like a damsel in distress. YOu are my Knight Errant, my Hero, I must confess. You'd slay the mighty dragon who would have me as his own. Or confront the evil witch and melt her heart of stone. Other times you are a mariner who has sailed on every sea. But when each voyage is over you return again to me. Each picture in my imaginings, when all is said and done, is just another fairy tale except where, my love you've won. But I don't need a knight in armour with a white horse for him to ride. All I need is my love returned and you by my side. |
