We know LongJohn's a sailor and
Sweet Lorelei's his wife.
Things always aren't so easy when
You lead a pirate's life.

Last month he came home from the sea
To see his Lorelei
With a stump for a leg, a hook for a hand
And a big patch on his eye.

Oh, dear!", she said. "What's happened here?
You really look a mess!!"
"Well, it was rough", LongJohn replied
"But I'm ok, I guess."

"A cannon ball took off my leg...
It smashed the bone clean through
But doc gave me this wooden stump
And I'm as good as new."

"A pirate's sword took off my hand..
It really hurt like hell
But doc gave me this silver hook
And I can do quite well."

"I watched a seagull overhead
As it went flying by..
That darn bird dropped a load of crap
That landed in my eye."

"You lost an eye to bird crap???"
Lorelei gave a puzzled look.
"Oh, no" said John, "it's just that I
Forgot I had the hook!!!"

Mr. Deer
I knew he was asking for it.  Your outrageous.  And now it's all I can do to stop laughing.

And by the way what does rofl & roflmao mean.  Email me with answer. (ggreen@netscape.net) I feel a litle stupid for asking, but I sure would like to know what some of the acronyms or abbreviations mean here on passions.
Again this was great stuff.
