A Thirty Five Year Moment

The first moment,
The very first part of the very first second I saw
you,
Is that when it started?

And now, later,
After all this time and all these years further on,
Can we be parted?

When love came,
True love, real love revealed itself to me
I was still so young;

And yet today
I can see that child still laughing, dancing,
existing
In the words of our lovesong.
