Balladeer told LongJohn, "I got this darned migraine!
and I can't think of anything to take away the pain."
LongJohn said,"They are really tough. I get those suckers, too
but I can cure them real fast.I'll tell you what I do..."

"When I first feel it coming on with pains above my eye
I get home fast as I can drive and grab my Lorelei.
I take her to the bedroom and I ravage her 'til dawn
and, by the time we're finished, 'deer, that migraine is all gone."

"That's not a bad idea", 'deer said. "I'll give it a shot.
No medicines have helped me out so what the heck! Why not?"
They said goodbyes and two weeks later they met once again
and LongJohn said, "Hey, 'deer, old buddy! How them migraines been?"

"LongJohn, it's been miraculous! Those headaches are no more!
I wish I'd known about that simple remedy before!
I can't thank you enough, good friend, for giving me advice
and I'll tell you something else, good pal...your house is really NICE!!!"

When you're good, you're very good, and when you're bad, you're excellent!!!  (At least that is what I surmise...hee hee)

Balladeer...
carried away or something...

hilarious stuff... but a touch too trite, a bit too RAW... slightly below the belt...

I am very sorry that I did not enjoy it as much as I would have liked... I wish things had been a bit conservative...not this:
"When I first feel it coming on with pains above my eye
I get home fast as I can drive and grab my Lorelei.
I take her to the bedroom and I ravage her 'til dawn
and, by the time we're finished, 'deer, that migraine is all gone."

but what the heck that's my viewpoint... as a poet... you are way beyond compare... way too good...   brilliant for all occasions...

regards,
sudhir

serenity....and when YOU'RE here, I'm happy. Thank you...

ladysixstring...yes, it was a little predictable but I was on a 5-minute break so I gave it what I had  . Thanks for enjoying..

Rebel...yeah, but he's real resiliant!

Sunny1...your laughter is making me laugh! Thank you very much

Sudhir..I didn't realize ravaging one's wife could be considered raw...but what do I know? Your comments are always appreciated..

The pitch... a big fat juicy off speeder that screamed "HIT ME!" The bat connected with a resounding "WHACK!" ... and the crowd watched it sail away over the centerfield wall and beyond. Can't say I didn't see it coming, but it scored all the same. Peace! Ya dirty old man.

Hello Balladeer,
I am so glad that I came by to read this. It's a gas, and I don't have any to pass! Well done, as the others of yours that I have read.
