Being of the thespian bent, young Balladeer tried out for the play.
And so it became the topic when his dad picked him up each day.
Knowing the parts had been posted, he asked what role was ‘Deer's.
‘Deer replied, "I play a man who's been married for twenty years."

"That's great!" his father responded, "I always knew you would make the play."
"And don't be discouraged with your part, there'll be better ones coming your way."
"After all, this is the your first show, and for everyone there must be a start."
"Keep up the good work and before you know it, you'll get a speaking part!"

Hi LJA....

Speaking from a female point of view...this was funny, and I really enjoyed it, even though I know there are men who talk more than we do!!  Ha!! Ha!!

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

LJA
Good One, but I think your asking for it from Mr. Deer. You put the Ball in his court and I believe he's going to run with it soon.  Be ready to defend.

LongJohn, there you go again...
saying hurtful things!
As if we kitties weren't enough...
you slam girls with gold rings!
You say all wives don't let their men
talk out at all! How dare you!
Wives are just like kitty cats -
Watch out! Our claws could scare you!

You take the Bard of Passions and
insult him here in public!
While he is running for the top man
of this fine Republic!
I thought you were his running mate -??
Now, why can't you be civil?
This feline is quite angry with
these nasty lines of drivel!

geez.... meeeeeeoowwwta here!

Wonderful! Guess this is why I got divorced after 20 years of marriage..I thought he had disappeared. Seems I was wrong, he just shut up!
