"Twelve lines of dark brightened by six lines of light"

Dark giant clouds howl, holding guilty burdened rain,
In their upbringing planting throbbing mournful pains,
Weaving dark criss-crossed blanket patterned in grey
Nemesis of horrid uprising intimidates a senile prey.

Maniacal hunter raises his angry poison-fanged hood
Bristling furious roars aloud in thunderous raucous feud,
Shapeless shadows laugh in a tormented lunatic streak
White lightning widely grins, flashing teeth of a freak.

Vivid reminders of yesterdays, a peep-show of failures,
Obscurity defaced, peace of mind crushed by mocking jeers,
Torrential rains pour, in a violent war, drowning the soul,
Echoing dripping sounds of bloody tears falling in a hole.

Then another hole in the skies opened,
filtering bright rays,
Forming a rainbow upon feathery clouds, in a colourful spray,
Sunbeams peeped from the other side of an unbound one-way hole,
Showering divine blessings on rebirth of a virgin white soul.
Golden azure luminous hue in an everlasting glow, lustrous view,
Shone in refreshed colours as life begins anew, hopes renewed

~

Is it not true that life offers more time in pain than in joy, but the joyous moments live forever?... just another thought

A song the bengal tigress sings
over homeland soft bells ring
shall I be but of one soul
when thy words come make me whole

rebirthed, reborn, each day springs new
when upon your face I softly view.

Sudhir, I am enchanted, and honored, and my appreciation to this goes both said, and unsaid...as you simply take away all of my speech...

you are too kind...

thank you...

I knew that this girl was in need of a dedication but my muse is cranky about writing nice things about people..lol besides Sudhir such delicate artistry should be placed in the hands of a skilled and graceful poet. What can I say but a truely wonderful dedication and excellent poem.

Sudhir there is no question about the content at the end of this poem and what a wonderful poet to pay that tribute to.
She suddenly comes along like a ray of sunshine and lights up everyone's perspective of life just like sunshine does to an overcast day.

Well done my friend!

I do not know the friendship that is shared between you and Sunshine, but this was an excellent dedication to her.  I also loved your imagery in your verses and the color used in the last verse.  Excellent touch.

Sudhir,

I fear I don't reply as often as I should sometimes, but I don't believe that there is a reason more fitting than this...
A tribute written by a fine poet for another.
An exquisite work, for an exceptional reason.
To you, Sudhir, and to Sunshine, my applause.
