Catch Me, If Thee Can

Catch me,
if thee think thee can,
chase this love
that runth like the wind.
Swift of thought be mine heart
knowest sooth,
it needth runaway…
runaway from thee.
Broketh lay my body down,
died the mortal death it did,
at the base of lover's cliff
and hid the torn and broken,
shattered soul,
that loved thee more
than life did hold.
Catch me,
If thee think thee can,
catch mine soul,
oh thee I love,
catch mine hand,
hold me back
from heaven's land.

I love the vernacular you have used and imagery as well. Truly a beautiful piece
