Look at ME! Look at me my love, and tell me what you see. Do you see a talent untapped, as you read each line of poetry? Or do you see a man whom waste his time. A man to which the muse has not sung. One who by all means thinks too hard, with a poetic nature parallel to rotten dung. Look at me my love and tell me what you see. Do you see a man of a simple nature, with simple ideologies? Or do you see a man who doesn't work enough, a man filled only with fantastical dreams? A loser in the sense of the word, for I do not have a grip on reality? Look at me my love and tell me what you see. Do you see a man of unbounded emotions, whom carries his heart on his sleeve? Or do you see a man whom you would call a whimp, a little girl trapped in a male form? Since his emotions are easily manipulated for having a backbone unable to stand strong. Look at me my love and tell me what you see. Do you see a man filled with love, who honors, cherishes, and adores thee? Or do you see a man who has lost his mind, and talks out of his rear? A man pretending to speak sweet nothings, but has blown all but the truth into your ear? Look at me my love and please tell me what you see. I can see how that could happen as two run the white water rapids of love, there is a smile and a laugh in the calm waters and scream for team work in the roaring rush. So yes, look at you is an all important request for survival running down through this emotional river. I know how a lack of complete trust could cause one to lose their identity.....this is very well written!! |

Despite the fact that it is fictional poetry I guess sometimes I do call into question how my love views me...sometimes I just wonder.. lol but thank you once again for your words and interpretation. fictional or not this is a great write...we so often forget just what it was that attracted us to our love to begin with...and start seeing things that arent so...makes you think huh? |
