Quinella's Dream - Prior to Meeting Konrad [Part VII]

[Story Parts I - VI: Quinella, having dreamt of a Knight, shares the vision with her mother. She visits Wizard Nor for a potion, that she would dream of the Knight again. Under a spell, Quinella's dream becomes nightmarish, which Nor recognizes, acknowledging to himself that Konrad will be his enemy, and foretells of his arrival. Konrad arrives on blackest of horse, knowing only that he searches for a vision from his dreams.]

Oh radiant daystar's lightsome
noise, thou brilliant
star, decease;
maltreat my eyes nay,
and e'en so,
mine heart is worse

for nightmarish dreams chased
me tiredly
throughout blackness and
evil stench all
the midnight…

and no dream dids't thou have of
my beloved,
good, kind Knight!

dreadful Nor!
His potion brought
naught but vexation,
and in mine adversity
his was the only
mask, most hideous vizard
I beheld

my sorest heart
still beats
too fast at the
hideousness of
the draught's potent

my throat swears raw,
nay, I cannot contrive to
believe 'twas Nor's most
terrible breath,
still in my mind
that he harbored so closely
on my neck

and he would have done
terrible things, methinks,
had you,
radiant daystar,
not come to
me now

O I must find my maman

I must leave….

~~~~~~~~~~~
O good steed,
most ebon of all fine horses,
my beloved friend and companion,
thou fear, do thee, that I, Konrad,
am indeed on
a Quest for the most lost
as I feel I am
most profusely
isolated of heart's content…
all throughout thy murkiness
of last eve,
the only resonance in thy phantasm
were ones of horrific
screams
as if some harpy had
lusted
and lost
wonder, do I,
did the sounds come
from mine own throat,
or did a falcon's
catch
cry in thy night?
O great and good Steed, thee will
break fast with thou,
and then I need must
continue pursuance
for my sweetest love,
she, whom, gods willing,
will possess rubied lips
'neath oceanic eyes,
and her softest tendrils
of auburn hair will
brush mine face
and I will breath
in her honeyed
essence
when she comes to
look into mine eyes,
for her voice, the voice
in every night's reverie,
shall not forsake my thoughts
and my heart is sorely
without her.
~~~~~~~~~~

I must quit my cave,

smoking shadows garner
threatening for me,

foretelling that good Knight
Konrad rides an ebon
steed, and
is nigh

Quinella, love of my
heart, must not,
cannot see,
shall never espy
his countenance

but see mine only,
and in that, I must ready;
the radix must
be quickly found and prepared

for only thy most potent
potion will elicit
from my beloved's rubied lips
the words that she must
give me

and the love of her spirit
that I seek when gazing into
her aquamarine-green eyes
will quench my hunger

my spirit grows cold and
weak
and tho I be Nor,
Great Nor,

whom kinsmen fear,
and gentlewomen tremble,

but which ones come to me
for the most lustful of compulsions,

the most wanton of pleasures,
the most grievous of performances,

and e'en tho they despise
my countenance,
they are thereby controlled nigh me,

my wizardry cannot live on
alone, and I must
quench my own
passion,

and her name is
and shall always be,
Quinella.

Konrad will hence be
extinguished.

Before he chills my blood.

I'm running out of words fair Sunshine. . .

Mine heart waits for the next part to flow from thy wondrous pen. . .

Keep writing my friend...

keep writing O poetess of Ra

for here is
perched a reader
anticipating
each bit
of the story as
each bit
unfolds itself...

O Poetess of Ra,
shower thy divine light o'er here
flower this earth with thy magic wand
cover us selfish beings with tales
shower thy light, cover us with delight
O Poetess of Ra...

regards,
sudhir
P.S. seems like HAIKU fever has hit me ...

Sudhir, patience...Quinella sleeps, the potent potion having renewed it's efforts to place her under the spell of Wizard Nor...Konrad continues his search for the vision...and Wizard Nor, despicable creature that he is, is concocting yet another evil hex....

The maidenhead is about to be breached. The good Knight plods on astride his black stead. The awaiting maiden does what she cane, she waits. the evil Wizard has quit his foul-smelling cave to meet the challenge of the noble Knight.
