My power to cope on days of long
has forgotten me and left me alone,
this day has yet to end its rein
on my good graces for what I gave.
Tis not what I would call to you
my heart, my passion, all of me,
though I have nothing as for gold
my riches are my words and the way they are spun.
My daily bread, is the power of pen
that completes my turmoil, thus I begin,
for wisdom comes at heart breaking price
I wish mine where gone, and nothing would write.
For heaven has come and torn away
my sanity, serenity and all of my dreams,
those that began when I first saw your face
thus continue when I think of your carress.
All of it memories, to store in my mind
all of them sacred, devine in my sight,
for which a tear and then more drop away lost
into my souls many places, where you still are.
I wonder what for, this pain to endure
do the gods up above see what we are?
Or simply to suffer this pain everyday
for the time we had, and what does remain?
A kiss, perhaps bring you into my breast
collapsing so gently for the peace we have,
and lost days that we live, do go away
for the hope of a 'morrow we shall have again.

This was completly lovely.  "for wisdom comes at heart breaking price" and "for which a tear and then more drop away lost into my souls many places, where you still are." would have to be my favorites here.

This has left me in tears. So filled with sadness and pain yet love and hope. My favorite line is "for the hope of a 'morrow we shall have again".......One should feel with the heart as you do. with every new word I read from you I learn.....I have learnt how to feel with the heart. It indeed has a voice if we would all just listen.
Thank You MG
