Quinella's Dream - Quinella's Nightmare [Part V]

[Story Parts I - IV: Quinella has dreamt of a Knight. She shares the vision with her mother; her wish is to dream of him again. She visits the Wizard Nor so that he might cast a spell, that Quinella would dream of her Knight once again; under the spell of the Wizard's Potion, Quinella's dream becomes a nightmare…]

The Wizard hears the scream from Quinella's
nightmare while in the deep recess of his cave…

Maiden's plight dost
visit her,
she descries
my visage, my countenance

she is now a slumbering witness,
and in her glimpse
of my face,

she screams in terror!

O!

Ah, such sweet mistress
of mine heart,

dids't thou not come
to mine cave

to partake of potent
draught,

to dream
and in those dreams,
envision thine fantasies

of thy one's desired
heart of eventide's dreams?

Now, she screams…

O! my Quinella! O
my dearest heart!

Hideous to thou
though mine features
might be

'tis MINE heart that
sings to you

'tis MINE lips
that woulds't have yours!

But lo, e'en I have stared long
into the smoke of tomorrow

and suffer that there comes
a foreigner,

who has crossed great
vastness,

from a mysterious land

befitting of his name
Konrad!

Smoked strings from sundowns long
past favoured
blessings
of his honor,

brave,

daring,

a man of counsel…

and comely featured, all smoke's
rings could not hide
that he would
take each
maid's

heart…

Quinella's heart…

and Mine heart…bloodied red
at his sword's prick…

O! I cannot brook that
my dearest heart's dream
frightens her to
scream

I must, shall find the
radix which she would
covet, that she must consume

and in wanting of consumption,
she
would perceive me for the beacon
of her essence

that we should become
one…

and my accouterments
shall
enfold us in both broad day
and twilight's darkness

her adoration shall be
my adoration

her corium shall caress
my corium

she shall require me as her
desideratum

and within me seek
her desires

and crave no other,

nay she shall not recognize Konrad,

but only me

Nor, Wizard of the Caves….

The shadows of moonlight fill the moor. . . a howl wafts over the ground. . .

we wait. . .

Fantastic diversion here, Sunshine. The Knight will be thwarted and the Wizard, the grotesque Wizard shall conjure up a potion for the fair maiden to sup and she will be desirous of him. Yes! Wizardry at his deviously best. Gotta love it.
