She cries the blue horizon
from a northern light she makes,
suprised by this admission
of feelings in her this eve,
for a call from a distance
that tore into her soul,
the lack of compassion
that she herself questions now.

Her only safe haven
is to lock away her heart
to attempt lacinate her feelings
and deal them apart,
the suprise of all
is her inner house of care
that screams to be free
and remove the torment there.

She cries the blue horizon
to which her beauty comes away
the taste of small freedoms
which do frighten her this day,
to hear her tears attack
the solice she maintains
the slight opening of her heart
and the freedom she will gain.

~"She cries the blue horizon",...what a line! Michael,...this poem, your words, *sigh*! The ending is perfect. Thank you for a most touching and enjoyable read. Please take care. *Peace.

This is very very nice... I had to read it twice... "She cries the blue horizon" what a fabulous line.  I'd love to see those words captured in a painting.

he stares out at the blue horizon ...
in the distance he hears her cries.
he then offers her quiet comfort ...
this gift of his poetic lullabys.

so beautiful Michael ... so ... you.

Michael, I had to reread this several times.  This poem has touched me deeply.  I can so easily relate to this.  Your pen is very wise, and your heart is one in a million.

Michael*
I wish I had the words to tell you
how much this poem touched my heart...
but this is one of the times that the
word "amazing" will have to say it all~
