As I sit here, condemned to a room of silence
As the storm outside my window pours rain
Watching upon my window, the precipitation condense
Wondering if I will go insane.

I don't know what's around the curve
As I press on, drive on in my life
I might have to deviate from my path; swerve
Or I might have to face my plight.

As the wind whispers through the trees
And the day solemnly passes by
I observe the dangling green leaves
Knowing in the fall of season, most will die.

Sitting here by myself, all alone
With my life and soul all corrupt
Deliberating whether or not to forge on
Contemplating which way is up.

ggrn3... If this piece you've posted is of your true feelings then I truly hope your find your way UP! {{Hugs}}
I'm sure you will find many friends here at Passions that will help you find your way.

At any rate, this was well expressed and painted a picture for me so I could feel and understand these feelings.

Hi ggm3....

Always forge on!!!!! Just do it at your pace and keep an eye out for the road signs......and it's much more fun with friends to share it with. You'll find that here at Passions!!  (Nice writing, BTW)

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

I've had many of these days... and I still can't answer the question correctly.  *S* I enjoyed the outlook on the leaves in fall. Perfect fit.

Of course you know which way is up. Any one as talented and inspirational as you are can't go but one direction.  Thanks for your comments.

Mrs. Paula
I know you must be firmly grounded. Contemplation on your behalf I can't imagine. But we do all have our good and bad days.  Again thanks for your comments.
