~Hand In Hand ... In Poetry Land~ < !signature-->In poetry land there's no anger ... in poetry land there's no shame. In poetry land there's no cruelty, no one taking away my name. In poetry land there is passion, there is quiet comfort to hold me in the night. In poetry land there is forgiveness ... acceptance and understanding bathed in poetic light. In poetry land no one judges ... no one cares how you look. In poetry land there is kindness ... I can get back the self respect reality has took. In poetry land we are all connected ... by the grace of our rhyme and verse. In poetry land we know peace and contentment, and find release from lonelinesses curse. In poetry land there is inspiration, encouragement, honesty, and trust. In poetry land we are all bound ... by our desires of sweet poetic lust. In poetry land there is beauty ... endless sunsets and beaches of sand. In poetry land there is harmony, there is you, there is me ...poets ... hearts in hand. Jan, there I met you under the palm trees, you were singing such a beautiful song my computer screen vanished the boundaries broke down and poetry land flowed over me. Janet this is you for sure and this is a wonderful positive work. I love the connections to all poets and the special language they use to express. There is the truth of it all being able to open the mind and heart and fish in a the river of words throwing out lines and catching love, sorrow, issues, humour and truth. All the wonderful things that the overflowing creative waters contain for the hungry poet to reel in. You have written it so well here and I enjoyed it thoroughly! |
