Dad there's so many memories that I cannot forget,
You came into my dream the other night,
I was sad and then I was scared.

I remember you face when I was sad,
When I had my 1st heart break you gave me chocolate,
And when I said I don't want to walk I hurt you and I.

I remember you taking me places last summer,
We had so much fun I'd say don't forget the chocolate,
You'd go alright "Min".

If I was in pain you'd help me,
You once said "your disability is only a part of you, and the other part is you",

When people call and ask for Mikko Talviharju,
I tell them he died they say "sorry"
I have tears in my eyes.

One day I'm going to walk by myself,
No more wheelchair just my legs,
I know I can do it I have you by my side.

I'm going back to school
In my Jr year,
I have so many things, not so much time.

I want to walk,
I want to help others,
I want to do a lot of things.

I know when I get out of high school you'll be happy,
So I guess I'll make every dream come true,
I promise you that one day I'll walk.

Once I someone makes a promise,
You don't break it I won't break my promise,
My life might not be easy but no one's is.

I'm becoming a really pretty girl
I know you can see me
Dad you'll never leave my heart.

You left foot steps in my heart,
Your foot steps show me where I'm going,
I'm happy you were my dad.

I hope you know that you meant a lot to me,
You left something special in me,
I'll find that out soon as the road keeps going.

Until then I really love you.

Love Always ~*~Minna~*~

Hi, that was so sweet and sad. I hope you know your Dad will always be with you, and how wonderful to have had that love. Good luck with all your struggles.

Minna,
this is the most heartfelt and touching poem that I have read in a very long time. . .

Your Father obviously meant a great deal to you. . . as did mine. . . I know that with the strength and the will that shows in this poem, you will walk again one day. . . his strength is in you. . . you will make him proud. . .

I visited your website, and I can see that even though you are where you are, you love life and try to live it to the fullest. . . we should all be so lucky. . .

Thank you for sharing my friend. . . we are indeed lucky to have you in our midst. . .
