fear is a description
that fools use to hide
their want of reason
and a place to die

fear is regret
of lifes simple things
that first moments glance
the kiss it brings

fear is confusion
for what may come
the bringing of love
the thought it is done

fear is the lonliness
we all tend to hate
the nights power to corrupt
and make us think

fear is a contagion
that rips us apart
steals our hopes
and breaks our hearts

fear is worthless
and belongs from us
to undo this fear
we should learn to trust

my fear is gone
when I think of you
the love we have now
and shall resume

Sounds like you found your cure... "my fear is gone when I think of you the love we have now and shall resume"  I live this on occation... more than I care to admit.

Oh, and did I mention... this one is extremely good.  And "fear is a contagion that rips us apart steals our hopes and breaks our hearts"  is at the top of the list for me - wonderful.

So nicely expressed, Michael.

This is an exception piece of writing Michael.  This one really struck home for me.  You have penned this one to perfection.  The one that has your love, is a lucky one indeed.  She has more then most people could ever imagine.....

chain...you penned these things as only a
