There is nothing now.
No hope.  No dream.
Nothing but the
truth of me.
Nothing, nothing, everything,
to heave the sobs of hours' weep...
And if my God would hear my plea,
I'd spend hours on my knees,
if pennies make a wish come true,
a well of copper just for you...
If I could stop my eyes from weep,
If I could rest--if I could sleep,
oh someone dream a dream for me,
erase my eyes, erase the blue...

Hold me.
Love me.
Make me new.

Tonight I'd die, to feel at ease......

"And if my god would hear my plea,
I'd spend hours on my knees."
I once thought that if I prayed hard enough and long enough, God would answer my prayer.  Then I realized that God was listening to her prayer also...I was praying to get her back and she was praying to go on...sometimes God knows what is best because he see's the whole picture...just something that happened in my life...James

it would serve no point
to erase your eyes ...
for it 'tis in your heart--
where your vision lies.

gifted poet...
all here--hears your plea.
prayers for healing peace ...
prayers for sweet serenity.

love you me twin ...
hugs for my baby girl...
take care of you for me...okay

Fantastic line... "a well of copper just for you..." so clever!!!  The title really caught my interest.  So hopeless but I enjoyed it very much.

So glad to hear you are ok....your longing for peace and the overwhelming sadness pulls at every being of my heart.  Beautiful but haunting plea for help and peaceful sleep.
