The breath that blows hot breezes on my cheek,
the happiness of this invaded heart,
the long black hair across the scented sheets
I drift in solace blessed in arms.

The giving touch, sharing tenderness
the cantus firmus on the placid air
the pleasing richness of the liquid rest
the hidden joys that suddenly appear.

The mystic sound of scores on high
across my heart strings flying doves
the sheltered trust once more revived
a gentle moment on the edge of love.

ethome--this is so sweet and tender and the sensuality is overpowering.  You make me yearn to be close to the one I love right now and if I could she would be right where you descibe.  Beautiful work and greatly appreciated.

You've made the rough "edge's of love" seem so smooth..... Thank-you.

I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
Then magnificently we will float into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows you know I will be coming home
And when thst fog horn whistle blows I got to hear it
I don't have to fear it
I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And together we will float into the mystic
Come on girl...

"invaded heart" ~ what an imaginative, endearing piece of poetry, this. So enjoyed.

Marvelous seems to be an apt word to describe the beauty of this poem...

Ethome, as many times already you have done it again... penned a majestic poem...
