And now we've loved; rest with your dream in mine
Love, stress, cares and concerns all put to sleep.
The night turns on, the stars move round Polaris
Your sweet sleeping form is pure beside me

Only you, will sleep in my dreams. We'll go,
Together, over waves to tropic shores.
You alone travel through these dreams with me,
Ever you, evergreen, ever love.

I watch your hands, fingers uncurled, at peace
I sense the day's cares drifting away;
Your eyelids closed two dark feathers lying

We float down to a waterfall, cascade
The folded water carries us away.
The night, the fates, spins out our destiny.
Yet with you, I am your dream, you are mine
And only that, and that is all needs be

This is pure beautiful romantic style. I especially like the "uncurling fingers", a definite sign of complete relaxation. Very well done, sir...

Gloriously perfect love poem. Ah to be loved like this...

Mr. Wilfred

Great love poem. It expresses the closeness that two lovers may share.
