Your Hold / To Free

Your Hold

Within my mind
is the memory
of the first
my eyes rested
upon the words
that held me
in your grasp.

Within my heart
is the rhythm of you
sent to me
in rushing waves
every time we shared
our moments
of warmth and light
come each morn.

Within my reach
is the touch
of your smile
the kiss of your lips
the air that you breathe out
and I take in
as we live
in each other's hold.

Within each of
these moments
I am close to you
allowing only
the passage of time
to intervene.
Our minds and hearts
flow freely
as forever, I am in
Your Hold.

~~~~
To Free
Though penned awhile,
a bit ago
in name of LadySin
the changes made
came 'bout that time...
as you were entering in.
Generically,
I wrote my words
inspired much by hes
but nothing can compare
to thought
of new made memories.
If loving you is wrong,
this day
And caring thoughts, I pen
Then "right",
I never shall become
For I can't remember when
Such feelings sweeping,
dusting me,
as flecks arise each morn
When sun breaks through
the shadows' dark
And thoughts of you are born.
Through slatted blinds
it winks at me
with dusting particles
I reach to touch
like silk spun gold
to treasure, save on spools.
To weave into
a cloak of love
To comfort me this way
If loving you is wrong,
my sweet,
Be this, the judgement day.
Release, I will
my hold on you
and you, your hold on me
Together we will
kiss our thoughts
two butterflies, to be.
MMoonchild - WOW!  What poignant poetry!  It left me speechless - and most Passions members will tell you that's a rare condition for me, LOL!  Thank you for posting these two wonderful pieces!
Troy, wish I could have a smoke right now
(I don't smoke though) anyway..you responded as I was still working out my font sizes..*s
Yes I wrote one a while ago in March I think..and this one just now finished it up..it's unusual for me to write while sitting here at the computer although for the past 3 days I have done that..usually I relax in a bubble bath or lie in bed and close my eyes or out in the sun bathing in warmth..so I don't know what's come over me
except for feeling that this has become a nice place to stop and rest and write my thoughts...thank you for your speechlessness as you can tell, I am never at a loss for words, either to pen or to speak
~~soft hugs and thanks
Maureen
This is truly beautiful. To Free hit me like crashing into a wall, kind of what my life's been like lately.
          thanks
