Angels do not make love they are love
the spirit and essence of pure and holy faith
in a corrupted world

Angels cannot be touched but touch the world
in such a way that nothing is the same
and people changed forever

Angels cannot be seen and yet we catch glimpses of them
In sunlight reflecting off water
and good deeds

Angels are a separate entity perfect and whole within themselves
yet they are fascinated in the complexities
of love and sex
and observe dispassionately

Angels are a law unto themselves
And yet they obey the laws of the universe
and dwell within the world
to bring us truth.

"It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures;
but it is the loss that shapes the image,
gathers the flowers weaves the garland."-

Hi Kethry.....

This was great writing! I have to tell you about a book I just finished about angels that you might like. The author is Andrew M. Greeley and the title is "Contract with an Angel". It's a great book, and after I read it I had a better view on angels!!
           I loved your words here.....
(the book is fiction and fun to read)

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

You sure put it better then I ever could begin to do. Angel topics are just something that touches everyones heart. You did a wonderful job defining angels...just perfect.

I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps

Not too long before I myself made a poem of angles myself and I justified them in terms of love.  However, I simply am in awe of how you jusitifed them with respect to touch, law, and love      Truly a wonderful poem, kethry.  I enjoyed this a lot

Sudhir - Thank you for your kind words.

Sunny1 - Thank you I will try to get my hands on the book.

Saunni - Thank you for your comments. I don't that anyone can really define angels these are just some of my ideas about them.

JnR4eva - Thank you. Where can I read your poem.

Fire - It is always a pleasure to read your comments, for you are so apt. Please accept this humble poet's offering of gratitude.

Be well
Kethry
