Can I stare at you for just a moment? Capture your image in my mind? If only for a moment you were there now forever in my heart....... And I don't think it is just the distance keeping us so far apart....... In a trance your words hypnotize me In my mind now, you, is all I see And no baby I am not nieve just trying to understand this tangled web that we weave And in between the rose colored haze I hope somewhere you'll meet my gaze And I'll ask you..... Can I take you with me when I sleep? My dreams give to you to keep? Memories of slumber will comfort me in the light of day as thoughts of you I struggle to push away....... So can I carry you in my heart? To keep you with me always Though we are miles apart? |
