There's way too much noise
in here
the cartoons, the cars, the toys
Stop that yelling
stop that running
ask your mother
I'm telling

stop the noise..
I can't think
go away for just a moment

and in the blink of an eye

There's way too much noise
in here
the empty rooms, the echos of laughter
there's no yelling
there's no running
there's no mother

and there's no telling

Where is all the noise i cursed
the ones which now are sorely missed

*footnote..
OH what joy our children bring with that wonderful noise.. and I try to stop long enough to enjoy it. For it will be gone all too soon.

I think my favorite sounds are those that 2 year olds make... very lovely
