Sparkling in the summer sky
She looks all alone
She's been through a lot
But still she remains
Believing in the power that placed her there
The power that holds her there

She has seen much around her
Seen planets and stars come and go
The last planet to orbit her
Exploded in a flash of light
And was gone

But now, a new planet has come
Taking shape in her aura
It looks to her to provide it light
To provide it beauty,
                      to provide it warmth

The beings of this planet
Do not worship her like those of old
But rather, they give to her songs of love
And she gives to them. . . of herself

So she shines for them
This star
Her color?
Not red
Not yellow
Not white
She's. . . just. . . bleu. . .

This is totally awesome.....your wording is perfect and the flow just eases us through all the way down.  Read it twice...once aloud and it is exquisite indeed.  Thank you for sharing this one with us.

I really enjoyed this Sven.  I miss sooo much at Passions.  I come and go so often.  No rhyme or reason to my presence.  Eventually I stumble onto and find the little treasures.
