Talking My Heart

A Love Note...

I offer you my morning eyes
to gaze upon your blues.
I offer you my softest pale,
upon your own to use.

Today shall be a birthday of
my love, my heart, to share.
It's yours today and every day,
lit candles waiting there.

The room in darkness, glows a flame
it's wavering, slight breeze.
I lay before you, nakedness,
desires wanting ease.

My thoughts, I draw with every breath
inhaling yours as mine.
I love you with each kiss I send,
to you my valentine.

I rise from deep inside myself
the morning brings the sun.
I've packed away the shaded grays
for you, my special one.

We'll trip around the world of us
and travel, vacation style.
I'm mapping out from head to toe,
our miles to make us smile.

Long time coming, togetherness
what lies ahead is back.
Just words of yours that kiss my lips,
in loving shall not lack.

We'll camp along the riverbanks
and climb the mountain peaks.
We'll hike the trails of nature's love
no words, need ever speak.

The air will fill with lover's myst
and reign upon our hearts.
As darkness grows and blankets us,
we'll tent in body parts.

When hour reaches midnight
and the Moon's glow reaches full,
two hearts as one shall race the night
to covet each, it's pull.

Completeness Reigns upon her Myst
'til golden rises blue.
And once again, the dawning of
Two hearts that speak "one true".

awwwww...I should have read this earlier when I wasn't  so weak  in heart...making me weep from such soft words..when Allan told me about this site(and I never knew Allan before) but when he did and I checked it out it exuded warmth and I have yet to be disappointed
~soft smiles of thanks for your kind words

Maureen,

First of all, congratulations on your 1000th post!!!!!  Way to go!!!!!

Second, this was a wonderfully romantic and sweet poem.  You have written from the heart I see.  The best way to write what you really feel.  Excellent writing.
