I had to change a few words for the sake of rhythm

Magnolia

From within the fine magnolia tree
White virgin petals of purity
Beg for a moment of sweltering disgrace
From caressing the sun upon their face

As perfect milky wings unfold
And flaunt their splendor to behold
A sunbeam raptured by the bloom
Then reaches out to petal’s plume

Lovingly the gentle flower
Blossoming from sun’s great power
Embraces all the warmth and care
With no reserve of the affair

She turns her face to reap the touch
Within the strength of sunbeam’s clutch
Majestically she shows her grace
The lovely sundrenched ivory face

She waits suspended in the tree
In perfect pose, so longingly
For me to find her and consume
Her elegance and sweet perfume

The sun looks down in ecstacy
And worships the magnolia tree

Butterflies, Thank you dear, your challenge poem was exquisite

Lakewalker, I appreciate your comment

Mark, A poem comes out of a thought or intriguing line. You did the hard part. I just filled in the blanks. Thank you for your original post - great idea.
