If and when have come and gone...and gone is here to taunt
The memories of what almost was...will forever haunt

Sweet memories of yesterday come to hold my hand
While smiles of your sunshine.....are more than I can stand

A love that warmed my heart...with peace it was encased
Your fingerprints upon my life shall never be erased

Every tear and smile are etched in crystal form
Upon the walls of a broken heart they painfully adorn

The moments of love are mere ghosts of a now silent "use to be"
From the chains of sorrow my heart struggles to be free

If and when have come and gone...and gone is here to taunt
A love not meant to be...The words echo and will forever haunt

Holly my dear love in faith---You have not only met the challenge but you have given of your heart as well....your love will someday be...this lifetime was a circle two thirds  drawn and you need only to reach with your dreams as you know only one third remains.....(7x4=28 and 7x6=42)(4/6 becomes 2/3 and each turn is 1/3 etched)  You know my heart "SIS" and I wish for you the peace you seek.

Now my sweet "Sis" let me see what you can do with the Magnolias.

Graceful and moving...  I saw sadness in this but with a ray of hope to a new begining as the past was laid to rest. Enjoyed it

Exquisite Butterflies! Each verse held a haunting, aching feel, which drew me into the next. Very beautifully penned ... you met, and exceeded the challenge indeed!

Best wishes,

I had to pull this one up again because you know I share in your pain.  Your words are as haunting as the context it was written in and well you know that I know.  Hugs.

Oh Butterflies I'm left with a real sense of sadness here. Reflecting back on my own life I guess and wishing you peace for yours.
