We are a strange
and mysterious brew
those that find depth
in the souls view.
To which we have lasted
through troublesome times,
and purged our feelings
on paperless lines.
But there are a few
to whom I would kindly say,
you have brought joy
to my troubled days.
When I was sure
all was lost
and that my hearts content
would feel nothing more.
You allowed my words
to fill these pages of hope
giving insight to me
and my souls lack of control.
To sorrow I sought
and it gladly found me
that second of burst radiance
that swept it free.
So I say to you
my dear poet in heart,
have faith and sing
for you words do impart.
A feeling of grace that completes
more than a simple show,
it does touch the heart
and grants us love.
And to you my poet
in depth of glow,
for which you light a way
with your words of joy.
And meanings rich of
the souls complete song,
that you give it rythem
and movement that we've yearn for long.
To you both I say
thankyou for your peace,
and I wish you both love
for which you have given me.

Beautiful Michael! It's amazing how much love, kindness, caring and wisdom come through the words and souls of another poet ... this is a lovely tribute to those who have touched your heart!

so beautiful thank you for sharing I feel the same way. So often I feel like I'm looking in a mirror at myself in reading someone else's poetry. Inspires me also to write more.

Thankyou for all of your kind words, I have always tried to look at us a more than just the sum of words we produce, I have found this place to become a haven, when we are down, happy, upset or in love, with out a constraint or worry that we would ever be thought of as an outsider......
