Pale & Forgotten

My pale confusion
itches away at my soul.
I stand in the middle
of your empty bedroom
lost for emotions
and drowning in thought.
I lay myself down
upon your fading shadow
where once you dreamt
that wishes would come true,
I now lay crying
that wishes would come true.

My orange anger
stares into Gods eyes.
I stand in his presence,
it feels like an empty room.
I'm lost for emotions
and drowning in thought.
I hold myself back
from cursing his shadow;
where once I believed
that he'd help the innocence
I now ask him why
he did not help her innocence?

My blue memories
are fading fast.
I'm missing her more
as I slowly forget her.
Desperately I scramble
to hold onto what's left, (of her)
but its so hard,
so dark,
and so alone with out her here.

Good-bye.....
Good-bye my happy memories,
Goodbye......

DanielW~
This is plain downright sad.

'I'm missing her more
as I slowly forget her'

Oh ... how poignant !

*sniffle*I agree with Marge, just downright sad! Beautiful poem though. I love the way you used colors and shades to set the mood.
Loved it! ^_~

Beautiful poem showing an all too real struggle... this is truely sad.

My blue memories
are fading fast.
I'm missing her more
as I slowly forget her.
Desperately I scramble
to hold onto what's left, (of her)
but its so hard,
so dark,
and so alone with out her here.

Good-bye my happy memories,
Goodbye......

my love is my inspiration

Oh Daniel ... how sorrowful and yet tender your words are. They've left an ache deep within me. Sometimes memories consume us and we need to tuck them away, only temporarily. I know this all too well.  They always return ... and with time, they become somehow a little lighter, a little fonder, a little easier. Lovely poem Daniel, take care.

Best wishes,
/Kit
