Sitting by the waterfront
    passing time away.
Marveling in a moment
    that words can not portray.

Swiftly across the moon,
    clouds softly sailing by.
As moonbeam shadows are cast
    gently from the sky.

Upon ripples of water
    the moon does a dance.
Manifesting her beauty
    with much elegance.

Swaying delicately
    to and fro.
Mesmerized by
    the moon's halo.

The shimmering reflections
    upon the water at night.
Displays such an enchanting
    and glorious sight.

Thank you Alwye.  The moon just has a way of making things so peaceful.

Marge, well of course.  You know me and the moon!    Thank you so much.

Shimmering Reflections - gets my vote - this scene is so serene - my cares swept away while sitting in a brightly lit PC desk.

Oh, I just loved this! I relate so well with nature and the beauty of it and any time someone can write a piece of work to get an even closer look at it, gets to my heart! Great work.
