If in truth,
justice unfold,
remember
blackened night of soul...
Recall, I stood,
before you, bold--
shameless
amid stories told.

A bullet--silvered--
in my chest...
fingers' dance...
dew--kiss--wept...

And no I cannot,
will not rest--
Take what you need,
forget the rest...
This is my will,
my soul's behest...
cherish--
less forgetfulness...
memory
wrapped
in my own greed...

a thought of whisper...
whispers "me..."

and now I feel the pain of need.

Powerful medicine you have here, Serenity.  I especially liked the ending lines:

"a thought of whisper...
whispers "me..."

and now I feel the pain of need."

Aaahhh!
O Serene One!
Wherefrom?
Wherefrom,
may I ask that
you evoke such emotions
swirling within thyself?
Wherefrom,
may I ask
do you shower
peace and tranquil
and yet emote powerful feelings?

such as these...
-----------------
memory
wrapped
in my own greed...

a thought of whisper...
whispers "me..."

and now I feel the pain of need.
----------

My regards,
sudhir

Serinity...I most certainly hope you are getting some of these poems out to publishers!!! Your writing has matured to the point where you can hold a candle to anyone I've read and probably dim their lights with yours. Great work
