I wrote this poem when I was in a depressing phase that I just felt like no-one loved me or even cared...and when kids my age would judge me (we all know how that feels) Just thought you might wanna read it, maybe even relate to some of it. Please tell me what you thing. Thanks! Social Disorder Although I have a family And friends that love me so Something else inundates My self-respect sinks low Emotions slowly disperse Animosity fills within I long to procure beauty Yet I feel like I can't win Peers instigate malice Constant teasing brought upon While I become tentative Of every feature set wrong Lenient attempts don't help No feelings will subside I'm always scared they'll laugh I need a place to hide |

"WOW" I think we all can relate to that at times. I hope you are feeling better now! just remember that every one has problems and those who tease generaly have more than us! its good you have family and friends to turn to, they are the only ones who should count anyways. best of luck! John |

I agree with John....We all have these feelings at times....even as adults. It's so sad that kids, and adults can be so harsh! Even more so that society (small portion) puts into our minds that we need to live up to some sort of standard, and if we don't, we're not good enough. Life is hard enough as it is....why add to the stress? I've learned through life that you only have a few, or even one, true friend. And they are precious gems! Thanks fro posting and I hope this is a eye opener for a few of those "unpleasent" people, though, I don't think we have too many, if any of them here at Passions!  ~Sheri |
