An Angel in Disguise < !signature-->A friend once had to confide her reasons for believing the stars in the sky. She told me cherubs pranced on each one. They tussled and frolicked, shooting stars they flung. And then she whispered an earful surprise she told me she believed in angels of disguise I claimed in dismay perhaps maybe true. On earth they exist, happiness they exude. For each one that finds a lover to be soulmates they're called, in jubilee. They do wonderful things, special is how you feel. Warm is their touch, your heart is what they steal. They are truly magnificent works of art but then and there my friend had to part. We said our good-byes, I walked to my home. Dressed in moonlight, I did go alone. Shinning shinning ever so bright the stars did dance in the moon's precious light. A night of beauty I never did behold. A night for a princess in a story book told. On way forward to my humble abode that is until I heard a mystical tone. A presence I felt, moved I not dared emotions ran high, primarily scared. Then a hand did brush up on the pocket to my side. Fell a picture of my love, to my perplexed surprise. The picture I did gaze as I begun to cry starlit tears fell for my angel in disguise.
