Two Lovers In Paradise

If only I could close my eyes and every woman in this great big world would just disappear and go away
and as I opened my eyes again to see only one women would be standing in my sight that day
in a lovely lush garden of Eden created by my precious God above
and this woman would be filled with Love and understanding and she would be you my Love.
We would see no cars around for we would have no place to go.
No thirty story buildings could be found we would not need them you know.
All thru each and every day we could spend hours of bliss taking time to sing and laugh and play
in our beautiful garden filled with lovely flowers, trees, lakes and streams
all the precious gifts of nature to touch our hearts and fill our dreams.
Serenaded by white turtle doves and majestic mountain peaks surrounding us with heartfelt Love.
And shining brightly in our sight would be the beauty of a million star filled nights
with your lovely lips to kiss goodnight
your tender arms to hold me tight.
Best of all the part most real
the joy a contented heart reveals
as two lovers in Paradise share the Love they feel.

This is a very beautiful and delicate piece Jimmy. You're certainly a great writer when the subject is about love...in fact seem like a love expert!

What a beautiful setting...paradise...two young ardent lovers...the true meaning of love expressed every day...away from the turbulent excesses of this old world...away from the meism that TV encourages...away from the broken families promoted by irresponsible attitudes of selfishness...away from the lies and deceit that permeate the political and business world...away from the destruction of the very planet upon which we live...away from racial hatred and strife..away from wars and violence...and so on and so on....yeah I'm with you man.... "two lovers in paradise" that's supposed to be the way it started out.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?

this is an excellent piece you have penned, I enjoyed it so much!

So true James..lack of respect, appreciation, and I agree with ethome...SELFISHNESS..which the world (maybe Americans are so focused on...me and I, money, power, gain,)I thinks it's time we changed that and started a revolution to turn this attitude around...What happened to compassion???empathy for others? SELF!!!!so foolish to be full of self...

Thank you Sudhir, Claire, and Romantic for the kind and sweet replies.
